We are pleased to introduce today's job offer for one of our downtown clients seeking a German-speaking Senior Accountant to support their growth in the Luxembourg market and contribute to team development.
Our client established themselves in the heart of Luxembourg over 20 years ago, earning recognition for their expertise and personalized services. Today, they manage a diverse portfolio including Commercial companies and SOPARFIs, both in Luxembourg and internationally. They provide a wide range of services including Accounting, Tax, and Payroll, ensuring their clients' diverse needs are met through their comprehensive offerings.

Your Responsibilities | Accountancy – PSF – PFS – Tax – Financial - VAT
- For this role, you should be able to coordinate the work of your less experienced colleagues and assist them by responding to their queries if needed.
- Given your seniority, you are expected to respond to your clients' queries and advise them on various subjects related to their accounts.
- In this role, you are still expected to maintain an operational focus by preparing financial statements for your portfolio and ensuring timely submission of annual accounts to help clients avoid penalties.
- Our clients expect you to prepare and review tax declarations, as well as advise and explain them to your clients.
Profile and Career Path | Accountancy – PSF – PFS – Tax – Financial -VAT
- Our client is seeking someone with at least 5 years of experience as an Accountant in a fiduciary, PFS, or Big Four firm in Luxembourg.
- You should hold a degree in Tax, as you will be required to explain tax declarations to clients and advise them on this subject.
- For this role, you should also have an Accounting degree or a related field.
- Fluency in German and a professional level of French are required for this role, given that your portfolio is primarily located in Germany.
- Since you will be required to coordinate certain members of your team, our client is looking for a candidate with strong soft skills.

- Our client is prepared to offer you a competitive salary of up to €85,000 gross per year to recognize your expertise and the value you add to their company.
