Senior Accountant – Holding Company, Part Time Role

We are currently assisting a Holding Company in its search for a Senior Accountant. With hundreds of employees on an international level, but with a team to build in Luxembourg, the HoldCo is currently seeking an autonomous Senior Accountant to represent the Luxembourgish entity.

Your Responsibilities | Senior Accountant – Accounting – Accountant - Finance

• You are responsible for the daily bookkeeping of SPVs and Holding companies and you are fully autonomous.
• You are in charge of the bank reconciliations, managing all payments, managing bank accounts, and establishing the financial statements.
• You make sure that tax returns and VAT returns are handled correctly and in due time.
• You will also take on some corporate-legal tasks such as the preparation of board meetings, resolutions or minutes. However, it is important to note that your role will mainly be focused on accounting and the aforementioned tasks will represent a minority of your workload.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Senior Accountant – Accounting – Accountant - Finance

• Fluency in English is required for this position as this is the only language that is used internally.
• A good experience in a PFS, Asset manager, Holding or fiduciary is mandatory for this position, with a high level of autonomy and exposure to corporate-legal tasks. 6 years in this type of role would be a minimum.
• You would describe yourself as an independent person with excellent work ethics, who is comfortable working in an autonomous manner without needing a large team around you.
• You are trustworthy and your colleagues abroad can count on you to report in due time, but also to identify certain needs or solutions in case there are problems.
• You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting, or in the legal field.

• In this hybrid role, as you will be the first employee in Luxembourg, you will have a real ease to organize your day as you wish and benefit from an excellent work/life balance. This is a part time position : Either 3 or 4 days per week, depending on your preference.
• You will take on a role with varied responsibilities, as you will be the first person of contact for the Luxembourgish office for your colleagues abroad, but also enjoy operational accounting tasks and even corporate/legal responsibilities.
• Your salary can reach €100.000 (on a full time basis) and any fringe advantages will be personalized depending on the candidate.
• This Holding Company has a very good communication amongst all of its entities, so you will also be able to refer to your colleagues in case you have questions.
