The ‘M3’ in M3 Architectes, can be read as cubic meters and implies the importance of the third dimension in the design of our projects and our architectural approach. 

Our experienced, international team of 55 employees is led by 5 partners: Jos Dell and Marie Lucas - the founders of the architecture practice - as well as Chantal Baumann, Carlos Duarte and Jürgen Simon.

Our architectural practice has been active for more than 25 years in almost all sectors of architecture, urban planning and Interior design. Our work covers all project phases, from the initial sketch to the final commissioning, taking into account the given general conditions and the objectives established with the client.

The office's teams are involved in up-to-date workflows based on advanced visualization, communication and management tools. M3 Architectes stands for high-quality architecture that is born on paper and whose realization is supervised on the construction site.

However, the sharing of experiences, time for reflection and discussion, working with models, the practice of sketching and designing have not lost their place and remain the first vectors of creativity.

M3 Architectes understands architecture as a constant re-evaluation of conventional ideas, coupled with a constant interest in the development of new projects and new solutions. Technological awareness plays an important role in our office. A commitment to the circular economy and sustainability are part of our practice's DNA.

The shared interest in the project and the desire for interdisciplinary co-operation in the planning team is always combined with a focus on the client's objectives and the technical constraints developed by the consulting engineers. We place trust and the ability to listen to all project participants at the center of our working methods in order to lead our projects to success.

Since our foundation in 1997, our headquarters have been located in a refurbished industrial building in the heart of the capital city - Luxembourg.
