One of DuPont's largest facilities is in Luxembourg, where two different fibre products are manufactured. One is Typar®, which, with its specific properties, is used as a geotextile in the construction of landscapes and infrastructure, among other applications. The other is Tyvek®, which due to its unique properties is used in the construction industry, in the medical packaging industry, for protective clothing and for graphic applications. The development and manufacture of these products requires specialist knowledge and a deep understanding of physics, chemistry and engineering.
