The Unicareers fair is back! Discover why Luxembourg is an attractive destination for young people and come take part!
Are young people the new privileged generation in Luxembourg?
Luxembourg is now shining like the sun in Europe (small but powerful). After being a paradise for senior profiles for many years, particularly in finance and IT, the Grand Duchy is now taking on the challenge of attracting young graduates from all sectors and, above all, from all nationalities.
The appeal of Luxembourg is no longer limited to workers looking for outstanding salaries, but also attracts young people seeking a better overall quality of life.
That is why the country is doing everything it can to attract its future potential residents: free public transport since 2020, an ongoing ecological transition including more than six hundred kilometres of cycle paths, numerous preserved green spaces, high-quality technological infrastructure…
And, of course, matching job opportunities! With its Triple A rating confirmed in 2019 and its many other distinctions (Europe’s leading private banking centre, the world’s second-largest investment fund centre, the safest city in the world…), Luxembourg certainly does not lack arguments to convince young graduates to join its European success story. It is notably thanks to this new strategy that the Unicareers fair has enabled hundreds of recruitments since its creation!
A must-attend event for young graduates
Every year, the Unicareers event plays a key role in shaping the early careers of future graduates and young professionals from across Europe. With more than 160 companies attending to recruit and a total of 2,500 job opportunities available, the Unicareers fair has more than enough to attract Luxembourgish and European talents who have just entered the job market.
Unicareers is a unique opportunity for students and young graduates with less than five years of professional experience to start their working life in Luxembourg and meet leading Luxembourg recruiters face-to-face in a single day.
Opportunities for every profile
The many job and internship opportunities will be organised into clearly defined thematic areas: Audit/Accounting, Banking/Finance/Insurance, Commerce/Retail/Marketing, Legal, Industry/Construction/Transport, IT/Consulting, Research & Development, as well as Services/Training. Everything is designed to help candidates make the most of their visit.
