If you join our Accounting department, your daily work will consists of :
- Financial Recordkeeping: Record financial transactions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Maintain organized documentation and perform journal postings and reconciliations.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile key accounts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial data.
- Financial Statements: Assist in preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements, including supporting schedules and notes.
- Group Reporting: Prepare group reporting packs, ensuring accurate and timely data submission aligned with internal guidelines.
- Audit Support: Provide documentation and explanations for audits, addressing findings and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Liaison Role: Act as a point of contact between local finance and group controlling for consistent data and reporting.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process optimization, implementing new controls and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities meet internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Support various projects and tasks as needed.

Here is an overview of the skills required:
- Degree educated in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role( preferably in industrial companies)
- Knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS is considered an advantage
- Fluent in English – good command in French
- It is mandatory for the candidate to have previous hands on experience with
- Inventory
- Fixed assets (property plant and equipment). Experience with assets under construction is highly desirable.
- Accruals
- VAT and Income tax
