As part of a replacement, Greenpeace Luxembourg is looking for a Fundraising Manager to supervise the Fundraising team made up of 6 people and whose mission is to guarantee the financial independence of the association, through the acquisition and retention of its donors.


The role of the position:


Reporting to the Director of the Luxembourg office and the Director of Greenpeace France-Luxembourg Fundraising, you will be responsible for developing the financial resources of the office. To do this, you will manage the fundraising team and coordinate all fundraising programs.


More specifically, your responsibilities will be as follows:


  • You will design and organize the implementation of the collection strategy for the Luxembourg office and formalize the annual budget.
  • You will supervise and coordinate the various fundraising programs: street fundraising, direct marketing, digital marketing, telemarketing, legacies and major donors.
  • You will personally contribute to the implementation and deployment of certain collection programs.
  • You will monitor and analyze the collection results, ensure regular reporting to management and propose innovative and relevant areas of development and adjustment.
  • You will manage an experienced and committed team of 6 people. On this occasion, you will coordinate the activity of the service and ensure the maintenance of good collaboration within the team, the motivation of its members and the development of skills. As a leader, you will bring a common vision and positive team dynamics.
  • You will guarantee the good circulation of information within the teams (collection in Luxembourg and France, and the other business teams in the Luxembourg office), the prioritization of missions, decision support, and will ensure respect for processes.
  • You will collaborate daily with your counterparts from the French team, and will participate in international practice sharing groups.


The position is to be filled in the Luxembourg office in Esch-Sur-Alzette as soon as possible.

You have similar experience in an association, foundation or fundraising agency, combining expertise in fundraising and management, in Luxembourg or in a neighboring country.


You are recognized for your leadership, your ability to work in a team and your interpersonal skills. Your strategic vision and your rigor make you a demanding and inspiring manager. You have strong writing skills and demonstrate adaptability to varied contexts.


In the context of exchanges with other Greenpeace offices, fluency in English is essential, fluency in Luxembourgish and/or German is highly appreciated.


Special conditions:


  • Communication by email in French and English
  • Communication by telephone in French and English
  • Position based in Esch-sur-Alzette in Luxembourg
  • Employment contract of 40 hours per week
  • Occasional travel to Paris to Greenpeace France offices and agencies
  • Work on screen


Remuneration and working conditions:


  • Gross monthly remuneration starting from €3,793.73 for full-time (40 hours/week)
  • 50% coverage of transport costs
  • Flexible working hours in an open and friendly environment
  • Wellness benefit offered to employees allowing them to partially cover their leisure costs and sporting activities
  • Teleworking possible (under conditions)
  • Holidays offered between Christmas and New Year’s Day
