C. Accounts SA is a Luxembourg based company, with a portfolio of industrial clients active in sectors such as shipping, port operations and door-to-door transport, as well as real estate and financial investments in Luxembourg and abroad.
For the implementation of new accounting software, we are looking for a Junior accountant with IT skills to strengthen our accountancy team in Luxembourg and ensure a smooth transition process.
This fixed-term contract position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a profile with initial experience who wishes to develop both accounting skills and IT management experience.
In close collaboration with the team and under the supervision of the accounting manager, you will contribute to:
- analysing the current software deployed
- extracting the necessary data and preparation (e.g. formatting and data cleansing) of its utilisation in the future accounting tool
- creating the new accounting environment
- profound testing of all functionalities throughout the process
- documenting accounting processes and train super and end users
On a daily basis, you will:
- handle requests from your colleagues-accountants
- collaborate with different departments to ensure performant operations
- communicate with internal and external IT suppliers
- develop the skills to support the implementation of the accounting tool
Your profile
- You hold a degree in accountancy
- First experience (internship, apprenticeship, or job) in an accounting department is an asset
- You are fluent in English
- You work efficiently and know how to respect deadlines
- You are proactive and have excellent communication skills
- You are able to perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times
