Junior Accountant – 6-month CDD, Belgian Border

It is a special opportunity that we have today, a position as an accountant for a company at the Belgian border. Our client is seeking a new collaborator for a fixed-term contract for a maternity leave replacement. However, the fiduciary could be interested, if the collaboration goes well, in hiring this junior accountant for a CDI afterwards.

This position is a great opportunity for both cases: if you are looking for something new where you might be staying in the long term, or if you have a personal project and do not want to commit yourself to a CDI. In both cases, this company is an excellent stop-by to learn in a short time and to enrich your CV.

This position is located at the border, making the location ideal if you want to avoid traffic jams and park easily your car. Furthermore, the team is very sympathetic and welcoming, making your integration easier straight at the beginning of your contract. It will also be easier to catch up on the files, thanks to the great communication and benevolence of the team.

Your Responsibilities | Finance – Accountancy – CDD – Fiduciary – Accounting 

• You will be in charge of the accounting of a diversified portfolio composed of SPVs, Holdings, Soparfis or even SARLs.
• You will act, depending on your knowledge, on tax matters in collaboration with other team members, including tax and/or VAT returns.
• It will be required of you to ensure the bookkeeping, but also the annual accounts and financial statement preparation.
• You will work in collaboration with experienced colleagues who will give their best to reinforce your knowledge.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Finance – Accountancy – CDD – Fiduciary – Accounting 

• You have at least 2 years of experience as an accountant in Luxembourg in a similar environment; this will facilitate your adaptation to your new environment.
• You are fluent in English; any other language will be considered an asset.
• You have experience with financial portfolios such as SPVs, Holdings, SOPARFIs.
• You are autonomous in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.

• You will earn a salary up to 60,000 € gross per year, depending on your experience and knowledge.
