The AMDS Segment controller is responsible for AMDS finance framework (structure, definitions and processes). He/she is generating the main recurring financial reports, creating ad-hoc analysis, and is responsible for the automation of reporting files, business modelling & forecasting as well as Business partnering with our 6 Business Divisions.


In this role, you will:

  • Actively participate in controlling activities of Segment for various cycles: MRF, MC, BAR, Budget, Strategy
  • Coordinate mid-year Strategic exercise including KSI review
  • Prepare Action 2020 follow up for management review
  • Prepare framework for Forecast/Budget submission
  • Coordinate central postings on segment level
  • Act in agile way for all ad-hoc requests related to controlling topics
  • Business partnering with Business Divisions
  • Act as point of reference for BPM/Cube related queries
  • Improve the quality and accuracy of analysis
  • Assist in the developments of the IRIS project
  • Ensure that mechanisms in AMDS Cube are updated with latest definitions
  • Implement any changes in the organization and maintain managerial scope view


Your profile

  • University degree (Accounting or Applied Economics), Business School or Engineer.
  • First experience in accounting or controlling positions, preferably in international companies (group).
  • Background in complex industry (manufacturing environment) and in audit firm an asset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient English level is a requirement.
  • Capacity to work both with a high level of details and to take helicopter view.
  • Results orientation: aims to minimize time spend on mandatory tasks (timely and accurately) to finally deliver the best possible business value (low cost, high value), proactively overcome obstacles and adapt approach to achieve results.
  • Relationship skills: Able to adapt approach to different level of people and to different levels of expectations and to communicate with them effectively.
  • Able to challenge status-quo and to drive change.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
