After the success of its first edition at the end of 2024, the Moovijob Week returned for a second edition from 17 to 21 November 2025 at the ECCL.
And this year came a brand-new feature: a pre-selection process for participants. The aim? To ensure that companies and visitors could engage in a welcoming environment and enjoy optimal comfort conditions. Only profiles that matched the needs of the participating companies were invited to take part in this employment-focused week.
On site, our sourcing team welcomed visitors at the entrance to check the CVs of those who had not registered in advance and allow them to participate in the event based on the selection criteria established for this edition.
Monday, 17 November: a gathering for professionals in Health, Medical Care and Social Services

This first day brought together 29 companies and 1,053 visitors pre-selected from among the 2,137 who registered.
It was the perfect opportunity to meet key players in these sectors face-to-face: socio-medical centres, hospitals, on-call services, medical analysis laboratories, aid and care establishments and home care networks.
For Agathe, a newly graduated dietitian, the event was the place to be to discover the Luxembourg labour market and gather key information on diploma recognition, a crucial requirement in this highly regulated sector in Luxembourg.
For companies in the field, it was also the ideal setting to meet as many specialised profiles as possible in a single day.
Hélène Magard, HR Business Partner at LNS, praised Moovijob.com's pre-selection process: "We met quite a number of nurses, laboratory technicians and biologists, which are really the professions we are looking for at LNS."
Nathalie de Lira, Recruitment & HR Consulting at CHNP, described the Moovijob Week as the "must-attend event of the year to meet targeted profiles in the healthcare sector."
But it's much more than that, as it also allows them to help and guide future talent. Nathalie shared a few anecdotes: "We welcomed a doctor who had just arrived from abroad and didn’t know how to proceed to practise in Luxembourg," and a young woman who dreams of becoming a psychiatric nurse: "We were able to explain to her what training she needed to one day achieve her dream."

Tuesday, 18 November: spotlight on Sales / Hotels - Restaurants / Services

During this second themed day, 18 companies and 1,322 pre-selected visitors (out of 2,980 registered) met at ECCL.
The day brought together key players from the sales, retail, hotels - restaurants, event management as well as personal and business services sectors.
One participant interviewed during the event highlighted the value of meeting recruiters in person: "I've already applied for quite a few jobs online, but I thought that coming to meet companies directly at the fair might give me an extra boost." In particular, she was able to receive exclusive information about opportunities available at the beginning of next year.
Once again, the relevance of the profiles encountered was praised by the companies present, including Synergie: "We met candidates who could already start right after the event," and GRIDX, which also participated in the third day of Moovijob Week:
"We had needs across several fields, and most applications were directly related to our open positions. This pre-selection really helped reduce irrelevant profiles."

Wednesday, 19 November: Industry, Construction and Transport in the spotlight

Key figures for this third day: 38 participating companies and 1,639 pre-selected talents in attendance, out of a total of 2,713 registered participants.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from construction, quality control, logistics and rail transport companies, as well as engineering consulting and industrial firms.
Magalie Kulig, Co-Managing Partner of Alternative Travail Temporaire, was present at the event and attending a Moovijob.com event for the first time. She was pleasantly surprised:
"I didn’t expect to meet so many profiles that could interest us for temporary placements, and in the end we’re very satisfied with the applications we received."
For Tamara Thoma, Executive Assistant at SOLELEC, the positive atmosphere stood out. She also believes the event will bear fruit, possibly leading to one or two hires.
Visitors were just as diverse. Among them, a first-year student at Icam, an engineering school in Strasbourg, came looking for an observation or practical internship in aeronautics, construction or automotive. He had checked the list of participating companies beforehand and identified 14 to approach one by one to maximise his chances.
He shared: "I’m really happy with the event. There are so many companies. It’s a great opportunity for young people to discover the professional world and speak directly with employers. Coming in person, with determination, really makes a difference!"
Later in the day, we spoke with a more experienced profile. He attended the fair to meet companies "truly relevant to my field, transport and industry." Currently working as a machinery operator in a small structure, he hopes to move towards an equipment fleet assistant role. He believes he found promising leads and hopes to be contacted soon.

Thursday, 20 November: a day dedicated to IT professions

38 companies and 1,415 pre-selected visitors (out of 2,128 registered) were present on site for this fourth day.
Companies were recruiting in a variety of fields: artificial intelligence, web and software development, IT security, network architecture and databases.
For Julien Ledoux, Manager at InTech, sponsor of the day, the themed format for each day is an excellent initiative:
"The IT theme matches exactly what we look for. We were able to meet profiles perfectly aligned with our needs, coming from all backgrounds and seeking all types of roles. The timing at the end of the year is also great, as it allows us to identify talent for the beginning of the following year."
A sentiment shared by Pierre Gillet, Senior Project Manager at CNFPC:
"It’s beneficial for both companies and visitors to focus on a specific field. It’s clearer and more efficient for everyone, and a real time-saver. People don’t have to wait too long before we can meet them."
Several candidates also highlighted the efficiency of these themed days, which they highly recommend to anyone seeking opportunities in IT.

Friday, 21 November: the Banking / Insurance / Financial Services sector brings the week to a close

The fifth and final day of the week was the busiest, with 34 companies in attendance and 1,738 pre-selected visitors out of 3,226 registered.
Present were major players in the sector: banking, insurance companies, fiduciaries, accountancy firms, investment fund management companies, audit and consultancy firms, law and legal firms, Fintech companies and other recruiters in the sector.
ALFI, the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry, participated for the first time and greatly appreciated the event for the quantity and quality of the profiles present, as well as for the diversity of profiles, from young graduates looking for their first opportunity to experienced professionals looking to change careers.
Marèse Courtois, HR Officer at In Extenso Belux, did not expect to meet so many aligned profiles, including accountants, finance specialists, tax experts and administrative staff. They believe these meetings could lead to concrete recruitments.
For Thomas, a visitor looking for an opportunity in Finance, meeting companies in person remains the best way "to stand out and make a difference," especially in a market that is currently quite competitive. He strongly recommends the event to all professionals in the sector.
