Join us on 17 September and show just how much energy, team spirit and enthusiasm your company has to offer! The Luxembourg Times BusinessRun is far more than just a traditional corporate run. It's an experience that brings colleagues together, boosts motivation and gets companies moving.
When companies move together
On Thursday, 17 September 2026, it’s time once again in Luxembourg to lace up your running shoes and experience the spirit of teamwork. This year, the Luxembourg Times BusinessRun will once again see numerous companies from the region taking to the starting line. Whether you're an ambitious runner or a beginner, the focus is on the shared experience and the joy of exercise. Whether you’re a small team or a large corporate group, what counts here is working together.
A look at the impressive figures from the previous edition highlights the event’s appeal. With nearly 8,000 participants from around 450 companies, the 2025 BusinessRun celebrated record participation and has long since established itself as a key fixture in the event calendar.
Companies, institutions and running enthusiasts can now register their teams for the BusinessRun Luxembourg. This popular mass-participation event is back for another edition and promises yet another unforgettable evening full of exercise, motivation and genuine team spirit. As in previous years, the starting signal will be given at 6:30pm at the Coque. From there, the approximately 5 km run leads across the Kirchberg plateau and is designed so that everyone can take part, regardless of their fitness level.
More than just a run: an experience full of energy, emotion and encounters
The Luxembourg Times BusinessRun is more than just a run. Participants can look forward to a varied programme of events featuring music, catering and a great atmosphere. Even before the start, a DJ sets the mood and builds anticipation. Along the course, samba bands and a mobile DJ bring extra energy and accompany runners with dynamic rhythms all the way to the finish line.
At the finish line, participants are rewarded not only with a finisher medal but also with a well-deserved refreshment and a healthy snack. And the experience continues even after the run: at 8:30pm, the official award ceremony begins on the stage at the Coque. In addition to the fastest teams of three in the men’s, women’s and mixed categories, awards are also given to the largest teams and the most creative outfits. In collaboration with the Chambre des Métiers, the fastest mixed teams of three from the crafts sector will also be awarded. This makes it clear that it’s not only about athletic performance, but also creativity, commitment and team spirit.
Afterwards, the Coque turns into a lively celebration area. At the after-run party, featuring a live DJ, refreshing drinks and a lively atmosphere, participants can raise a glass to their success, chat with one another and wind down the evening in a relaxed setting. The wide range of catering options offers something for every taste (sweet or savoury, vegetarian or hearty). Companies also have the option of having food delivered directly to their booked team area and tailoring the evening to their specific needs.
Networking, employer branding and engagement that makes a difference
As well as being a sporting and social event, the Luxembourg Times BusinessRun also offers an ideal platform for networking and employer branding. Companies can showcase themselves as attractive employers, make new contacts and strengthen team spirit in the long term. At the same time, the event supports a good cause. Indeed, €2 per participant will be donated to regional organisations and the Fondation Cancer. In addition, participating companies have the opportunity to make a voluntary additional donation. These “BusinessRun Heroes” receive a specially marked race number to highlight their commitment.
And even those who cannot be there in person on 17 September can take part virtually. Whether on holiday, on a business trip or anywhere else, with the Virtual Run, participants can complete an individual 5 km route with GPS tracking and motivating audio guidance.
Participants can now register and book team areas at www.business-run.lu. Until the official registration deadline on Monday, 31 August 2026, the participation fee is €33.00 plus VAT per person, including a donation and a goodie bag with attractive gifts from event partners.
Motivate your colleagues now, get your running shoes ready and secure your spots to be ready on 17 September to enjoy a special evening that brings people together, inspires and will be remembered for a long time to come.
