Launched in early 2024, the attractiveness index allows Luxembourg-based companies to measure their employer brand and compare themselves with their peers. A new study was conducted by Moovijob.com on 28 March during the 15th edition of the Moovijob Day, the largest Job and Career Development fair in Luxembourg.
In recent years, the relationship between recruiters and candidates has become more balanced. As the gap between supply and demand continues to widen in the job market, companies are no longer in a position of power — they must attract their future talent to spark their interest. This is the very purpose of employer branding and this attractiveness index, which has become a key indicator for HR professionals since last year.
How is the attractiveness index measured?
The attractiveness index is calculated based on the average ratings received by a company across the following three criteria:
- The aesthetics of the stand (The warmth and friendliness, decoration, colors, activities... Does this stand make me want to engage with this company?)
- The clarity of the message (Is the company's message clear? Can I easily understand what the company does, its sector, its professions, its projects, its corporate culture? ...)
- People at the stand (Are they welcoming? Do they make me want to interact with them?)
Anonymous visitors mingled among the 15,000 visitors at the Moovijob Day Luxembourg fair and rated the 160 exhibiting companies using these criteria.
Fanuc, the Administration de la Navigation Aérienne, and Abalone on the podium
With an attractiveness index of 4.60 out of 5, Fanuc Europe Corporation takes the top spot. The global leader in industrial automation captivated visitors with a warm, animated stand, a clear and impactful message, and friendly representatives. Congratulations!
The Administration de la Navigation Aérienne (attractiveness index: 4.54) continued its impressive streak from the previous editions. Its eye-catching control tower and polished communication efforts earned it second place.
Abalone, founded in Nantes in 1991 and now a major player in HR and temporary work, made a strong impression with an attractiveness index of 4.47, securing third place among Luxembourg’s most attractive employers.
