As a Procurement Manager, you will be in charge of
Procurement strategy/ organisation
- Define & implement procurement strategy and end-to-end sourcing process encompassing - supplier selection, stakeholder engagement (business, technical, legal, finance), negotiation, SLA's & KPI's, terms and conditions, contract award and subsequent follow up
- Investigate opportunities for consolidation of procurement activities
- Enforce standards on terms and conditions and contractual performance
- Establish metrics to assess factors such as quality, cost and delivery performance (e.g. system of bonuses or penalties)
- Perform pre-award analysis of potential vendors on capacity, expertise, financial situation
Negotiations
- Manage commercial negotiations across a broad portfolio of spend categories
- Achieve cost savings through analysis of budget and historical spend data
- Knowledge of strategic Telco&ICT vendors is an advantage
Contract management
- Manage contracts from award through close-out, including contract changes, contract renewal, resolution of disputes etc.
- Manage contractual documents to meet management and audit standards
- Propose and implement a contract management solution or tool
Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree business administration, sales, or relevant field
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in leading strategic sourcing and procurement operations in ICT or related environment; Prior experience with understanding of ICT/Telecom carrier contracts and their terms and conditions
- Excellent communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in French and English, Luxemburgish and German would be an asset
