DO Recruitment Advisors is delighted to assist its client, a Private Equity boutique firm, in the recruitment of an  ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (M/F) PART-TIME (80%)

THE JOB :
The Administration and Accounting Assistant will be responsible for tracking and requesting payments for all invoices and other payments, office administration, supporting the Finance Team and daily reception tasks.
He or She will report directly to the Accounting & Tax Manager.
This position is an 80% position (negotiable) with daily presence in the office required.
Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Managing invoices, recording and approvals
  • Preparation of payment instructions online and using Excel or Word
  • Preparation of Accounting journals for small companies and back up for the Assistant Accountant
  • Order office supplies
  • Management of post and couriers
  • Assisting with Bank Communications
  • Organisation of meetings, catering and other events
  • Organising travel and social events
  • Scheduling of office repairs and maintenance
  • Manage reception, answer the telephone and welcome visitors
  • Assist with basic IT support
  • Other administrative tasks may be requested


THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :

  • Fluent in English and French, (Luxemburgish or German would be an asset)
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Acrobat)
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently


THE CLIENT:
The client is a small international Private Equity boutique firm in Luxembourg with approximately 12 people employed here. They have offices operating internationally. The company offers a very stable work environment, a good company package with offices that are centrally located in Luxembourg City.


At the final stages of the recruitment process, our client will  ask the successful candidate to provide supporting documentation such as,  copies of diplomas or proof of previous jobs, and a standard criminal record check. # DO
